This isn't really a race story, but I wanted to share it anyway.
Last night on my way to the gym, a car with amber fog lights gets on the highway behind me. He gets right up behind me, I speed up and change lanes and he did the same. After doing this for awhile I started to get annoyed(whats this guys problem) So I finally come to my exit and this guys still on my tail. The light is still barely green so I speed up to catch it, hopeing I would loose him at the red light. I take the corner to fast and kinda drift the rear end around, but this guy was still there. So I pull up to my turn and roll down my window to give this guy a piece of my mind. And instead of getting a finger or a ricer flyby, I get a wave from a guy driving a dark colored S14 se. I had to laugh, cause the whole time I thought I was being followed by some honda wanting to race. Just goes to show "you meet the nicest people driving a Nissan"

Hey man I hear ya'. Generally most Nissan drivers are curtious and nice when driving unlike these punks in their toyoyos and honduhs that think they own the friggin' road. They always cut you and ride your ass. I guess they feel that they have a point to prove...

When I drive my '95 240sx, I always wave to people with another 240sx (S12, S13, S14). Sometimes people ignores me, but I feel real happy when I meet people riding in a nice and rare car like we all do here!!
I once met with two 95-96 240sx with the same colour, so that makes 3 of a kind on the highway! We waved to each other and I felt fantastic! http://66.96.198.147/forum/images/icons/smile.gif

I don't belive how contrived this post is.
So all other people are hater/ricers?
Nissan owners are the supreme race to walk the earth?
Just because you have met some bad drivers/rice boys/(and I bet Honda drivers) you think they are all bad?
Give me a break. I can think of the very same thing happening to me and the car was a freaking Ford or something. Believe it or not, not all people bad.
All I'm saying is that you are better off not generalizing about anything in this world.
Note: This is not a flame. Chill...

Yeah but can you count how many times someone's given you a dirty stare or ridden your butt, even when your car looks stock (even though it isn't ^__^) and that other car has been some jerk trying to race or just prove he's macho or a better driver or something?? If you can't, it's either:
A: because it happens alot (which it does)
B: because you're not paying attention
or C: because you're one of those people who drives with your high beams on saying you have "high intensity lights".
It MIGHT just be because we all drive nissans, so we only notice it when other nissans are cool and wave or smile or thumbs up (i rev twice just to say "howdy" to any 240's i see). but if that was the case, why is it that every time i'm with my roomate (slammed white '94 integra with a loud [not big] exhaust), people tail him, high beam him, pull up next to him and stare. . . the list goes on and on (and it's not limited to honda's. . . but no other nissan besides me has done that to him as far as i know). i might be generalizing here but it's mostly civics and integras that do that to either of us (a honda will tail a honda? i mean. . . what's up with that?). maybe it's where i live, but that's how it is.
a friend and i drive around at the cruise scene (as small as it is here, it's pretty good) and look for other nissans, specifically 240's. every single person we encounter has been extremely nice and enthusiastic about modifying, willing to talk about what's under the hood and what's going into it. . .
maybe we're being arrogant nissan drivers. . . but at least we're friendly about it (mostly. . . )
