oh my god, and you tell us about that. if i were you i would go in hiding for a few years and never show face on this board again...LOL, jk. it couldnt have been stock. well at least we'd like to think it.

Well, this was on the freeway from L.A. to Las Vegas. (it's pretty amazing how fast people drives on that freeway...)
I was going about 90mph, then this stock year 2000? white Corolla came up behind me and changed lanes to pass me.
I then went full throttle, but the Corolla continued to creep up on me and eventually passed me... /(^0^)\

Corolla had a driver and a passenger

My car had intake/Exhaust/passenger/dog/packed tight with luggages because I was going back to Colorado...

I know stock 240's are not fast... but damn, that sucked.

Let's see!?? Moving at 90mph in a 2800 lb. car, with passenger, dog and luggage. Looking at 3200-3300 lbs. with maybe 140HP to rear.
Corolla wieghs in at 2450 lbs. with frt drive and 115HP and the same aero coeff.
You were Both running 23 lbs. per HP. They got a run on you and used your draft to go
on by.. WELCOME to NASCAR.

Actually, the 1.8L engine in the Corolla is rated at 125hp. If it was a 5spd model, it could've happened. I drove one, fast little car.

yeah i know that corolla... it has a 4age 20v with idividual throttle body, lsd, trd headers and exhaust.....heheh naaa just kidding. not sure how that could have happened, but i give you props for sharing that story with us. i know that would have stored those in my don't tell a soul file.
