Clue me in Any new R35 info???????

I have been in the back woods of, someone please shoot me, Kansas for family reasons for the past month and now that I am back in civilization I am wondering if anyone has any new info on the Next Skyline? Engine decissions... any new pics... Come on I am a dry spong right now. Anything would be great.

P.S. If you doctor ever tells you that you only have a week to live, go to Kansas because every day seems like an eternity.

Nothing much has been mentioned for the next GT-R. A recent Road & Track article mentioned that Nissan will likely produce a car similar to the GT-R Concept shown at Tokyo in 2001, but is undecided on engine type (twin-turbo V6 or V8?).

I have a question myself: why do people still seem to hate the GT-R Concept so much? If it's the face, then I understand, but it's grown on me. I really think it's a very nice exterior, though it's definitely butch.

You didn't miss out on anything. It is still the same old rumor and speculation around the world. It will be base on the FM chassis, most likely 4WD, either VQ V6 TT or supercharged or VK V8 NA or blown.............etc etc.....a few test vehicle out running around in Japan.......

Basically a beef up 350Z/G35 coupe with 4WD..........

You missed out bigtime! Haven't you heard that Nissan's broke ass was acquired by KIA? Now they will share the R35 GT-Rs platform with the KIA Rio to save on production costs. Rumor has it that it will be powered by KIA's powerhouse RB15 inline-4 with a whopping 96hp. http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

I thought that the supercharger was ruled out?

And there is already a beefed up version of the 350Z. It is the touring edition. It is the same engine wise but it is raced out more from the factory.
