Anyone ordered their G from Alta Infiniti?
I ordered my 2003.5 in the beginning of Aug.
just wondering how is their delivery date? Is it deliver as promise, early or even late?
I've been checking this board ever since i ordered my G and i am sick of waiting!!!

I did not order mine from Alta, but there are a few posters in this forum that ordered vehicles from this dealership. My visit there in July wasn't the greatest. I stood around/sat in the floor model for 20 minutes before anyway looked my way. When I brought up the prospect of discounting, they quickly shot that idea down when I knew for a fact they did it for other people.

The best thing about Alta Infiniti are the hot administrative chicks that work there...

As for delivery dates, from what I've read and heard, no dealers anywhere have any concrete info. They'll give an approximate date, plus or minus a few weeks. For example, my G was supposed to arrive late September, now I'm told it's gonna be here next week.

Furthermore, with yours being a 2003.5, it's even more speculative since nothing official has come out from Infiniti Canada, and no one knows for sure when the assembly started.

I'm in the same boat. I ordered a 2003.5 G35 with premium and aero in August from Alta. I call pretty much every week to find out where the car is. On my contract it stipulates the car will come by the week of Sept 16th (6 weeks) or I can either decline the order or get further discounts. They don't really know where the car is right now since their "system" is down. Our cars are probably on the same shipment.

I've found the dealership to be very good to deal with so far. All I have been doing is checking this forum to satisfy G-craving.

Sept 16th? I ordered mine around Aug 8th and they told me the delivery date is 3rd of October! Which they can't promise.

The dealers only are allowed to place orders once a month...every dealer I have talked to (4 of them) say their orders have to be in by the 5th of the month and anything ordered after that waits to be ordered till the next month. So, you may have ordered in the same month, but not in time for the order cutoff..plus, the dealers do NOT know exact build, ship, and delivery times.

Kinezo, you got them to knock off $1400? That's awesome. None of the dealers in the GTA that I visited were willing to do more than a couple hundred. Granted, I stated I was going to purchase, so perhaps leasing does impact pricing.

Otherwise, you must be quite a negotiator.

What I did was prepared a fax on my company's letterhead stating all my prefered options, colours, payment options, etc. to all the sales managers in the GTA. I told them I will take the best offer no questions asked. I gave them a deadline to reply if they want to do business with me. The only way I will deal with them is via fax. Cuts out the headaches of dealing with sales people. I faxed out to 9 dealers with 5 replying. Of the 5, 4 had below MSRP offers. 2 dealerships in Mississauga actually called me back stating that they and other dealers will only sell it at MSRP. I laughed at them for calling me and for lying about the price.

Once I made my decision I called the dealer that had the best price and made an appointment. I ordered my G35 that day. They also threw in a few things as well. Simple, cheap, and fast.

This was an awesome idea my boss told me to do. I will only work if you have a lot of Infiniti dealers in your area.

I only got $1000 off from him and i was practically begging like a B*tch!
And he was only willing to give me $12,000 for me 98Max SE trade in. So now i am planning to sell it private.
