Hey I am a Tufts student (originally from Phoenix) and was wondering if any of you Boston people had a recommended Infiniti dealer.

Basically driving in this city flat out sucks, and I want to do as little as possible, but need to take the J30 in for some repairs. I'm out in Medford/Somerville right now. I know of Infiniti Norwood. Any others?

I would recomend Kelly Infiniti. I have been going there for a few years with my I-30 (now G-35 sedan).
They have always taken great care of me and my vehicle.
I live in the Somerville area too and it is less than 1/2 hour from there.
I was considering Herb but they are tiny and was concearned they would not have enough loner vehicles...maybe they have grown...but I have had no problem with Kelly.

What car do you own?

It's a 1993 J30t, which was in perfect condition, previous to August 29th.

Which brings me to . . . drum roll . . . August 29th. I was taking a left onto Powderhouse Rd. from Curtis Street. I was third in line, behind a large SUV, and had the green arrow. As I came to about 45 degrees into my turn (point of no return really) I noticed a car from the other side of the intersection coming straight at me! The driver hit the brakes, but as it had been raining, ended up hydroplaning right into my two right doors.

Here's the real messed up part: the other driver claimed to have the green light as well. Turns out he did. I had a green left turn arrow, and the other driver (opposite side of the intersection) had a green light AT THE SAME TIME!!! I hate MA driving.

So basically, I have videotaped the intersection (and faulty light) and have given it to my insurance company. This accident was more the city of Somerville's fault than anyone else, and I certainly wasn't pleased. Though thankfully no one was hurt, I just can't believe they set up an intersection like that.

I have talked to a lot of Tufts students about it, and several have said they've almost had accidents there themselves as a result of the light. I am an electrical engineer, and know how to make the state machines that drive such an intersection. It's not terribly difficult. Someone definitely screwed up, big time!
