I just purchased my first Dime, a 1971 Sedan with the manual tranny. I plan on having McKinney Motorsports make the mounts for me as well as an ECU adaptor harness. If anyone has already done the swap and any encountered any difficulties, let me know. Thanks,

Adam

I've heard that those dimes with a KA in them are pretty kickass. Should be a fun car dude.

Anyone still reading this thread? I am considering a ka24de in a 510. I have a motor I took out of a 91 240 (put in sr) and I have my dime. I was not going to do it because I thought I would have to do to much fabrication/custom parts. If it is fairly easy I want to do it. I am good at this kind of stuff, i just finished a ka to sr swap in my 240, th only thing I am missing is the ka harness because it was scavenged for the sr swap. Is there any place that I can get the info on what is needed custom wise for this to work.

I thought from minimal research that the ka did not bolt into a dime? What about tranny mounts and driveline. Are there any clearance issues?

Thanks
Micah

Too much information being shoved down your throat. Stop asking, and just do it...you will figure it out, or you should not be messing with cars...
