I had a chance to sit in an compare the FX45 and Murano at the R.I. Auto Show in Providence. I also just saw the FX45 commericial on TV last night, and spotted one on the roads on Sunday.

I like it. A lot. It is the perfect size, is LOADED with gizmos and gadgets, and has a distinctive look to it. Sticker price... $47k!!!!!!

Yikes. This is where the Murano starts to look good. For $10k less, you can get a similarly equiped Murano, albeit with a smaller engine and fewer gizmos. the car is the exact same size, has great option packages, and looks a little more "normal." than the FX45.

On the flip-side, the G35 Coupe is a MUCH NICER competitor to the 350Z. for an identical price, the G35 Coupe wins out.

So, for the ultimate compromise, I'll take a G35 Coupe and Nissan Murano in my driveway and call it a day. http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif
