i was just wondering if it was possible to do a steering wheel swap from a 2002 QX4 into a 2001 QX4. i like the leather wrapped wood, audio controls and chrome infiniti logo much more on the 2002's it looks classier. i feel the 2001's look real bland and tasteless. does anyone know if this can be done and how much it would cost? thanks!

The q45 wheel may also work.

I think it would be pretty expensive because of the airbag. I think your best bet would be to ask the infiniti dealer. I agree that the 2001 steering wheel is bland, and not nearly as nice and classy as the 2002.

look for one in a crash lot, or wait until one comes in

ya i would think that would be hard though unless it was a rear end colision. I had to search for a couple months to find a front spoiler for my daughters mazda because all the parts for mx-3 that the auto wreckers had were back end parts because most cars are in front end collisions. I think if you find one though, it would look alot better than the 2001 steering wheel.

well i seen bmw owners do it with the m3 steering wheel.
i seen 3 series x5s and 5 series do it.

they even sell them on ebay. most of the time without the airbag. the owners either dont hook it up, or they transfer the airbag.
