There are some diehard tuned up 300ZX Twin Turbo owners who feel that the new 350Z doesn't have enough oomph. Well 350Z owners can rejoice as we have a few more details on the Stillen Supercharger. The kit bolting on to the VQ35DE engine will be based an Eaton supercharger built by well known S/C manufacturer Magnuson. Stillen is doing the accessory engineering, and testing to make the kit is reliable with lots of usable power. Stillen insiders tell us to expect between 70-80 with bigger fuel injectors to be included as part of the kit. The final production unit will not require cutting of the hood unlike the prototype unit previewed at the Stillen Nissan Day event.

Expect the kit to be on sale first quarter 2003. We also hear that the Altima and Maxima may receive a S/C kit for their VQ 3.5L engines.

We've heard word that in Japan, there's a single turbo kit being developed for the 350Z. Not too surprising since rear wheel drive Nissans in Japan have had an option of a single turbo VQ 3.0L engine for a few years now. Finally we have heard from the US arm of a Japanese tuner company that's planning on making a twin turbo kit for the VQ35DE in the 350Z. We'll be meeting with them next week to get the low down.

Blitz and Top Secret allready have twin turbo Z33's on the road. If you wanted to do it yourself you could use some nice aftermarket VG ex. mani's, turbines, and Z32 intercooler piping/FMIC, etc. But then again, I havn't seen many Z owners that are "DIY" type guys. hehe

Woo hoo. Positive displacement blower on a V-6.
Better than a centrif. blower IMHO.
Too bad it wasn't a screw compressor (WhippleCharger)...
More power IMHO but cost more...

Are you referring to the black HKS Z they've had at the circuit?

The Greddy kit will dyno at 345, but that is through the factory catalytic converters; Not bad considering the Track model comes off the dyno with 260. Greddy hopes to push it to the 400 mark. Here is a great link:

Just installed the B&B exhaust on my Z = NICE!

Show me a dyno that has a STOCK Track model hitting 260rwhp. Haven't seen that one yet. If all other models are getting 230's and lost 240s then that's what the track will be. You won't find 20rwhp with lighter rims and different brakes.

Dave, have you run one of your SC'd cars down the track out there yet? E-mail me at Z33Motorsports@aol.com if you get a chance. I have a few questions about your kit. Thanks
