Don't get out your checkbooks just yet. But the FX is on eBay Motors.

The really sad thing is, this is only to get on the so-called "waiting list". The money from this bid does NOT go towards the cost of the vehicle! Even sadder, there have been 9 bids and is up to $5100! I feel sorry for the poor sap who wins this.

Don't get me wrong, the FX45 looks to be an incredible vehicle, but along with the FX35, it will be a mass-produced vehicle. Therefore, I highly doubt there will be any waiting lists of any sort. Maybe only for the first few months in the major metropolitan areas, but that's about it.

This auction is for one of the very first Infiniti FX45's from a leading Infiniti dealership in Florida.

[/QUOTE]This is similar to a Murano gouge, umm I mean ad, that I posted. Why is the dealership not included in the listing?

Stupid people do stupid things. I love the law of supply and demand, but it's not like we are talking about a GT40 or limited edition car. I'd love to see the buyer get it financed, I can hear the banker now, you paid WHAT for this?

Hope the ebayer has cash in hand!

They plan on making tens of thousands of these, so that price premium drops rather quickly. But hopefully it will help with the resale value which will equal lower lease rates! Infinti gets hammered in the residual value dept.

So perhaps this vehicle can help pull them out of the dulldrums. Better residual, lower rates, higher sales, it's all a vicious cycle.

I'm not suprised the dealer is not listed, Nissan corp would probably thump them hard if they found out.
