jus wondering what cars u all would consider driving after your done(dare i say it) with your S chassis cars. not really the supercar fantasy cars(unless u have it like that, no disrespect), but as far as the sport compact arena is concerned. i started researching newer cars and i noticed that not only are more and more companys getting back into factory turbocharging their small car platforms, but they are also coming with terrific suspension set-up's and tastefully designed body mods. my question is when are cars become retirement age(well the majority that decides to move on or not maintain 2 cars) what vehicles come close the the dynamics that drew most of us to our cars. better yet, will nissan keep our business? i tried, the SE-R isn't doing it for me
thanx

This is more of a question for the Car Lounge, as it is not 240-specific.

Because I was in the market for my first new car in 2001, 240SX was not an option. That is why I'm not driving a Nissan. Instead, I had the option of a Civic, Integra, or Prelude.
Currently, I see it as basically Celica vs RSX vs Eclipse [aka The Porker] vs Tiburon.
Bring back the S cars!

When I go back to the US I`m probably gonna front clip-ify my 180 and slap it on my 240. This`ll put me in a lousy class for any kind of racing with turns. You need a dedicated car if you`re gonna do wheel to wheel racing anyway so I`m thinking...
Turbo FC - Get a race ready car for $5500. Cool! I think I also read something about a Spec-7 SCCA Club Racing class.
FD - Doubt I`ll be able to afford one, especially not to beat it up in wheel to wheel racing.
Old school Z - Might be a good project car (easy to work on?) and they look damn cool.. the tuning shop I go to has a 500 ps twin turbo S30 Fairlady Z
New cars.. eh.. not my thing. The amount of money I`d spend on a cheap one of those, I could have something that`s super quick.
