Lifter noise

Check again, Nissan's injectors are known to be loud.

I think it's normal, as is the startup noise you hear while the oil is starting to circulate. I have 5K on my Desert Runner (same engine) and it's still kind of louder than I would like. I know other owners (2) that report the same thing with the 3.3

nissan trucks are known to be loud and make funny noises sometimes. but if it sounds really out of the ordinary, i guess you could bring it somewhere to get looked at
