2004 max font dash=rush job

i'll admit, i was one of those ppl that looked at the first official pix of the maxima and declared it fugly. however, the more i look at the car, the more the car looks nice. anywho, one thing i still have a grip about this car is the front dash, especially the radio area. i think it could of been way better tban it is. the line in the middile of the radio, dividing i don't know what is really blah. what do you ppl out there think about the radio dash area? good? bad?

I think the dash has a nice minimalist approach and actually seems to be well thought out for those of us with big knees that always bash buttons when we're getting in our cars!!!

My only concern with the dash is that it was too minimal. It sometimes seems that they left too much blank space there. But the more I look at it the better it looks. It seems as if everything is turning out to be pretty balanced with the new max.

Yeah, I hated the look of the new Altimas at first, the less refined sibling to the new gen6. I have to admit that I now find them quite atractive, even doing double takes with the cars sometimes (certain colors look really nice in the sunlight). I hope the new Max has this same effect. As for the dash, at least they didn't put the bloody speedo in the middle as in the new Quest.
