A friend went to a dealer and found this huge ass markup on an EVO VIII. Gee that took care of any chance of the EVO VIII ever being bought.

It depends on which area you live in. So Cal will have the most and biggest markups, as will major metro areas. Outside of that though, lots of guys are getting them for MSRP or less than $1k mark up. If I can find the color I want with no mark up, I'll probably be buying one. The EVO is an incredible performance per $$$ vehicle and I'm glad we are finally getting it over here in the states.

I'd throw rocks at it! Can you imagine the depreciation in a couple years? I wouldn't pay $500 over invoice for it.

geez...and i thought the ft myers, fl honda dealer with the 39k accord 6spd v6 coupe was a complete rip...still is...$7.5k market adjustment = bend over

Haha, I got a call from my local dealer about two weeks ago to test drive an Accord Coupe 6 speed. He said the car is being treated like an S2000. I could not get him to lower the price to msrp either.
