We hear nissan is testing a 4wd Maxima as well as a CVT Maxima. Will they be produced, well.....we hope not!
Interesting.
This is great news for the G35 also. I hope it goes to production for M '05. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

no automatic just cvt maxima would be great. I think cvt should be standard on all the cars they make. AWD - if it's like the murano would it help with torque steer?

There should be a choice of all available transmissions and a choice of 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive.
Torque steer will always be present, but not nearly as noticeable in 4-wheel drive models. Who wouldn't pay that small price for the benefits of 4-wheel drive? I'd be more concerned with things like increased mechanical noise and loss of fuel efficiency. If these things are almost imperceptible, I'd opt for 4-wheel drive.

Or you could buy a Subaru for less price and get award-winning AWD.
