Fatdaddy... I must say that in person this car is worthy of 5 mics! I was at my local dealership today for a test drive and a truck load came in. The true Nissan fans will love the black and majestic blue 04 Max, I must say they look sweet.

Also, they sold one while I was there. I guy with a 98 Accord traded it in for a Max. The legion is starting to grow!

Sad to say I have yet to bug my local dealer for a test drive. But WOW, as seems to be the appropriate phrase, check out the gague cylinders just popping out over the steering wheel...nice touch!

The local dealer had a black Max up on the display stand on Sunday morning ... so I was forced to stop (it was before they opened) just to go take a peek and press my face against the windows. I was very, very impressed!

I've stated before that I do not find the new Max at all appealing, but I've gotta admit that thats easily the most flattering set of photos I've yet seen. Nice job.

I agree w/mayhem. The car looks better sitting in the dealer lots than in most photos, although not as good as these photos (pure propaganda... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif). I still think the price tag on this car is high and that it should be sold as an Infiniti.

Can you imagine what the price would look like on an AWD "Elite" pkg?! It's a great car, and isn't too bad for the level of stuff you get, but that would be pushing $40,000. I'm sure tha Maxima won't see AWD, but Infinity may just.

AWD would push it close to that, but the last Maxima I looked at was right at $35k. It was an SE w/ every option and the 5 sp auto, so a manual would be a bit cheaper. (which I would definately choose BTW) I still love how the steering wheel and seat welcome you in when you open the door and to me, the front looks the best in black and the dark blue. I think most of the people hatin on this car have yet to actually see one, because it is quite impressive in person. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif
