I would appreciate seeing more pictures of the new Maxima posted please. Road and parking lot photos provide a more realistic representation of this new model.

How do you post photos on this board?

Theoretically you could just stop by the dealer and look at one yourself in person... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
It's not like it's a rare car or anything there.

How do you post photos on this board?

You can post images that you store on your own webspace by clicking on the word Image in the Instant UBB Code section of the "reply to" window and then pasting the image address (can't be on your hard drive)

Or you can upload them to places like imagestation.com and then pst the link to your album

The Maximas are just now being distributed to the Nissan dealers in Canada and I think they are are only getting one each for now, that is why it would be useful to see some poster pictures. Also,I wonder if the colours will be identical in Canada as in the United States?

Image Station is certainly not user friendly. I think I was able to change the password to: 2004maxima

The 04 Max is just now arriving at Nissan Dealers in Canada (just one each at this time) and that is why it would be useful to see additional pics posted in street or dealer mode wth the full colour array.

Please try again to view the photos. I finally figured out how to delete the password -- at least I tried -- and I also tried to make the photos available to the general public.

From looking at the statistics, it appears that some of you have been able to view the photos.

Everyone who has seen my '04 Maxima has commented that they really like the car. From my 95-year-old father (who had his first ride in it today) to my 9-year-old granddaughter who wanted to drive it today! (Of course, she doesn't know how to drive, but she wanted to try -- that is how excited she was.)

If the car is as ugly as some seem to think it is, then I wouldn't receive any attention. Everyone looks and stares at my car. I haven't received so much attention from driving a new car in a long, long time. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

People who call it 'ugly' are hardcore enthusiasts being comparative with other models currently or recently on the market. No one claimed that it wouldn't impress 9 or 95 year olds (who are easily pleased, unlike hardcore enthusiasts or critics).

Now that they're at the dealers, you can simply drive into the dealer when the showroom is closed and walk around the car... it's still not what I consider to be the prettiest car out there necessarily, but it looks good in person outside of internet photos and the gaudiness of car shows.

Thank you for these excellent pictures Ron,if I get an 04 Maxima it will be in your colour. How do you find the leather guality and seating support, and are there any minor rattles (ie sunroof) or vibrations? One other thing; what is the engine RPM at 60mph? Thanks.

RonSteinbach

The leather quality looks high to me. The power driver seat is comfortable and includes a power lumbar support. And, no squeaks or rattles. The car really feels solid.

I will check tomorrow on the rpm's at 60 mph and several other speeds and report back.
