Here's the most badass S30 with SR I've seen...

That is an amazing car.
Perfect blend of everything. New/old Hi-tech/low-buck..
Sorry I can't be of more help with the topic. I think it'd be easier than SR into a 510, and there are plenty of those around.. I say buy the mounts pre-fab from somebody like McKinney and a pre-fab harness from... that one guy (i know somebody makes them for plug and play into a 510..). There should be plenty of room in the engine bay.. good luck!

As far as I have seen no one has done it, yet. Be the leader! Since you have the engine already it shouldn't cost you that much if you have the skills, parts and equpiment. Look around in your area for someone with swapping experience.

Not to be picky, but of all the Nissan dashboards in the world to use, they picked perhaps one of the least-sportiest ones ever concieved, the B14? http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

No no, he's in australia. 200sx=Silvia, in his case, S14.

The S15 is also called "200SX" in that part of the world.

D'oh...on further examinination I noticed the way the dash continues down.
I don't think he ever mentioned that it was from a 200SX, it just looked like a B14 dash the first time I looked at it.

Dont know if you've searched Hybridz.org recently but there's a person in tampa who just completed the swap.

hey hakeem, I'll be heading back the the states soon with my SR, so I'm looking at options for a car to drop it into. From what I understand the major problems with the 240z swap is mounting (engine and tranny) and drive shaft. Are there any other snags you ran into besides those? Thanks in advance http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif
OK, I am most definitely doing this swap now. I am searching for my 240z currently.
Hey Tony180sx, how you been? We miss you on Zeroyon.
I will be chronicling my installation on my website as I go along.
My project is gonna end up running 600rwhp. I'm looking into read ends at this point to handle all the freakin power. A solid 8.8" ford will do the trick.

"Did someone say Ford 9 inch rear end? With the posi track? I recon that would b good riggin for one of em import datsun's." That would b good for drag. I would also love a 240z with sr20det, but i would jus want a r200 cv axle rear end and bank the turns. And one sitting on the side witha 6cyl and solid rear axle for drag. Why doesn't sum rich ************** just drag out a q45 v8 or sumthing? 4 valve, DOHC alluminum v8. I am not the biggest fan or cast iron block, heads, intake manifold, n exh manifold with a single cam and pushrods.
