http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif <= M-Type being.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif <= M-Type trying to care.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif <= M-Type actually caring.

See any difference?

He's a NASCAR and IRL fan. He thinks the true test of skill is driving around in a circle all day. Either that or drifting his AT integra. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/rolleyes1.gif

Come on mtx, I expected you of all people to understand the importance of the 24 hours. But I will say it lost some of its luster with a shortage of factory teams. I was disappointed the most that Audi was not represented by a factory team.

Its ok. Someday you will understand that the 24 Heur Du Mans is the pinnacle of racing.

I'm not hating. I love mtype too, even though he stopped talking to me. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/tear.gif
I just don't understand why he doesn't care about bentley winning the 24 hours. After all, once he's a high-society politician he will probably be driven around in a bentley limo when he travels to europe. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Isn't it just an Audi?

The first Speed 8 was pretty much an R8 with a different aero package. The GTP cars do make a lot more downforce than the LMP900 cars but there are some drawbacks. The tires on the Bentley are 2 inches narrower than the LMP-900 which makes them equal to the LMP-675 cars tires. The motor is basically an R8 motor that has been stroked from 3.6 liters to 4.0 liters. The Bentley has a larger air restrictor than the Audi. The Bentley does not share the quick change rear end that the Audi enjoys. As far as suspension, I am not exactly sure the differences but the Bentley running now is not exactly the same as the R8.

Bentley, Audi, Porsche, and Lambo. all fall under VW's ownership.

Also the VW bug was initially designed by Ferdinand Porsche.

A little bit about the man himself.

No porche is not under VW ownership. Porche is independent. Cheyyene and Touareg is a joint effort on the part of both VW and Porche. I think it has something to do with Ferdinand Pieche being related to Ferdinand Porche or whatever but Porche is not under VW ownership.

hahahaha... Piech, Porsche, Cayenne, Touareg. It's all funny, especially when only M-Type can spell them correctly.

Porsche and Volkswagen have worked together so much on their co-developed SUV that the Touareg is actually a much better buy than the Cayenne. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/rolleyes1.gif

Yes! You are correct sir! Its a joint effort kind of like the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix.
