How many of these are Mitsubishi making? I didn't think the car was going to be that common, but they are showing up here faster than G35's. Maybe the dealer is marking them up to high or the target demographic can't afford one.

According to one of evo's enthusiasts' sites, it's roughly 5-6k the 1st year.

Hear hear!

Did you check out that markup database page?
San Jose dealer needs to go out of business, because their sales practices are teaching all the wrong things.

Apparently Ann Arbor Mitsubishi right here sucks too. But I already knew that. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Drive one and you'll understand.

Disclaimer: My comment in no way condones the outrageous mark-ups by many dealerships. It also assumes people understand REAL performance, which in turn means they can successfully operate a manual transmission.

well, here are the dealers with msrp
msrp (http://www.evolutionm.net/models/evo/dealer_list.php?s=4b6ce22d3039e933be5f18fc3ea3fc6d )

I have yet to test drive it, but according to various notable car magazines, they give better overall ratings to the evo compared to wrx sti even though the wrx sti has more hp, displacement, 6 speed, and other components... I'll have to test drive both one day to see what the hype is all about.

Crazy markups are common for small production autos, I remember seeing 15k+ or was it 20k+ markup for the itr at santa monica when it first came out.. redicurous...
