[G35RIDER]

This is the gogiolla T-rex. It was shown at the 2000 Geneva autoshow. It is based on the hummer H1 and uses all it's mechanicals. Personally I think if they wanted to come out with a new hummer this should have been it, it's definently less ungainly then the hummer.

christ, it looks like they are sitting on the bridge of the starship enterprise from the next generation...seriously, i have sat in RVs with more intimate driver/passenger relationships....the international truck i drive on the weekend has less space between the driver and passenger

GM sold a JLo-sized buttload of them last year, which surprised the heck out of everyone. Now if they sold the H1 with that interior...now that would be a real winner. I don't think they are producing this. It was just a concept but what I do like is the BigRig style roof with the two seperat windows.

That things weights a little 1.5 tons, impressive, what is made of fiberglass? I do like the interior, there's lots of space, I'm not sure about the use of it. Having evidently examined the Chevrolet Suburban and Ford Excursion and found both lacking, Italian design house Coggiola (that’s pronounced “ko-gee-yo-lah”) has decided that a sport-ute simply cannot be too large. That’s why it hopes to produce 50 copies of the seven-foot-tall monster depicted here, the Coggiola T-Rex, built atop a Hummer chassis and powered by a 6.5-liter turbo-diesel.

The T-Rex features 16 inches of ground clearance, a track of more than six feet, a crescent-shaped sunroof, retractable running boards, theater-style seating in the rear, and a section of carpeted floor space sufficient to accommodate your average NBA playoff game.
Immensity has its drawbacks, of course. To attain 60 mph, the 7050- pound T-Rex requires 18 seconds of general wandering and snorting and possibly a stop at a Mobil self-serve and then tops out at a piddling 83 mph. To buy a T-Rex, you’ll have to cough up $715,000 and a certificate proving comprehensive mental incapacitation. Given the current financial woes besetting the Sultan of Brunei and his brother, however, you won’t have to stand in line with the riffraff.
