The BIG Three now stand as GM, Ford, and ... Toyota.
For the the first time in history, Toyota has outsold DaimlerChrysler for monthly sales (August). Not just in the U.S., but also in Canada.

This actually comes to me as no surprise. People just keep getting older, so they need more boring cars. Perhaps they feel that DaimlerChrysler's vehicles are lacking in their usual boredom/put me to sleep quotients.

Maybe they need to tone down the advertising. All that Celine Dion (Chrysler-Jeep) and rednecks (Dodge) can give old people headaches! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Dodge might help chrysler but chrysler won't help chrysler. Their new products are expensive, moving up market. Pacifica didn't start out well, word is still out on how crossfire is doing. Their products are based on Mercedes platform and they'll be charging premium for it. People aren't ready to pay money for chrysler yet.

You could have fooled me. I see more and more 300M's around here everyday. As far as the Crossfire goes, unless they jacked the price up since I check last time, they were asking a reasonable price for it, despite its lackluster performance.

Well 300M is an "old" chrysler product. The new ones will be expensive as they'll be based on rwd mercedes platform with hemi V8.
