Anyone heard the "official" line on when Armada pricing will appear? Seems they ought to know by now since they're already rolling off the line........

It really sucks trucks should arrive 9/29 but no prices are available. I think Nissan is dropping the ball. they could already have the first shipments pre-sold if they released pricing.

if they are dropping the ball then f*ck them, there is no reason for this car to cost more than a sequia or expedition

it isnt to late though, if they realease it monday this week (i have a feeling they might since they have a commercial out, or at least sometime this week) there will the opportunity to make orders and stuff, i dont think enough people know about it yet though

We oughta start an "office pool". I'll take Wed 9/17 $34k low end and $45k top end for $5.

I've always bought first year models, but I've never seen anything like this. It smacks of "we know what we COULD charge(since we know the costs involved and they ARE rolling off the line), but if we wait till the last minute, we'll know all the competitions '04 pricing, and will be able to see what we can get away with". Makes me feel fleeced regardless of what it comes in at. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/rolleyes1.gif

i agree with price... ill have to admit though that not every car price is out a month or two in advance, and i dont see how it canmake too big of a difference, anyway i think this week they'll be out

To me it makes no sense you have been able to build Titans on Nissan's sight for months. This truck is still 3 months from debut. Why in the hell can't we get Armada pricing. Now I know what those guys waiting on '04 FX's feel like. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I talked to a local dealer, finally, last week regarding the new Armada. Funny, a few dealers won't even return messages I leave with them stating I'm looking for Armada info. Guess the individual dealers don't care about losing business, which they have for not at least having the courtesy to call back and say "We still don't know anything".

Anyway, the guy I did talk to said that they have almost no info, but are going in for training, etc. on the Armada on Wed the 17th. He said he expects plenty of info, brochures, and pricing by the end of the day. He expects the first units to hit the lots by the end of September. It seemed as if it was sort of a "national let the Nissan sales staff in on the 'big secret' Armada training and information day".

So hopefully, we'll all be bombarded with info by the end of this week, especially considering they launched the tv commercial the end of last week.

09-15-2003, 12:10 PM
yeh, plus remember they are also rushing into realeasing this thing, i have seen alot of titan advertising on the net lately, but no armada ads

still, i agree, expect stuff by the end of the week

They can't release it until all those dealers get their new taller doors to the showroom installed. Next time your at a Nissan dealer, check out the height of the doors to the showroom!

Not going to fit any Titans or Armadas in my local dealers showroom!!

Nissan Corporation ALWAYS holds prices until the day before introduction day.

Tomorrow, Monday I'll post the prices, however, I will let you know that the truck starts out at around 33, and tops around 45. I'll break down the pricing tomorrow(if I remember to bring home my pricing sheet)

As for Release of the vehicle, It has been rumored that it will be released prior to the end of september, However, In The Northeast Region, We are NOT expecting them to land until the middle of october.... Still NO Extact ETA on when the vehicles will land. However, It's usually about 3 weeks from the release of pricing, which I Just got yesterday... (This is based on many years of Nissan experience) http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

REDD_TIGER

It is monday. we are all eagerly awaiting pricing. You wouldn't want to post invoice pricing too would you http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif Also when will the first for sale units arrive and will you guys be cutting any deals to get them "on the road" to us early adopters or will it be MSRP +/- for a while.

Thanks

Tigger is a wanna-be. I wouldn't wanna-bet on the prices he gives. Who is he to be the first and only dealer to break the news. Whatever.

If you read my profile, You'll see who I am...

Now, I will not be able to post the prices on-line, until the official release date. However, If you email me or PM me, I'd be happy to help you.. and I'd bet on how accurate the #'s are..... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I Can say that the LE 4X4 w/ Technology(NAV) and DVD plus options will be over 48K That pretty well tops out the truck. For around 35 - 38 you'll be looking at the Most Popular options.

Nissan hasn't officially released pricing, and my posting of the exact numbers in a public forum could be a problem. I Appologize.. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Once my GM Gives me the go ahead to post the list, I'll do it immediatly. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well, I still haven't gotten pricing, but was told by the internet sales manager at a local dealer that he expects to be able to get it to me in a few days. Should be in the 35 to near 50 range depending on how loaded. Looks like the one we'll want will be in the near 50 range. Glad my wife gets the IBM pricing - it better be available for this one.http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

He also has Armadas slated to be delivered on Monday, the 29th. Doesn't yet know how many. Told me that I'll be real happy with this SUV if I've been waiting for something better than the Sequioa and Expedition, which I have. Guess we'll soon see. I expect to be test driving one sometime next week.

Whys is Nissan driving u crazy when u actually have NO IDEA as to when they do wat they do. What u have is an approximation or maybe not even that. For example, u got the prices just a tad earlier before they released them but u actually had NO IDEA when they would ACTUALLY release them. How do u know they released prices early and not right when they wanted to??? It makes a lot of sense to me that Nissan would realease them now, as they begin to sell in begg... of October.

Bunch of BS and ways to look at but thats just my opinion anyways....take it how u want...

P.S. When u say, "Here u go guys...as requested..." its like u are taking credit for Nissan releasing the pricing as in we couldn't get it ourselfs...lol...blah blah blah..I'm tired...I'm out!?

I recieved word that the official release was the week of october 8th, Therefore to have nissan announce pricing on September 25th is a tad early..

How many product launches have you been around ? The manufacturer has a schedule that seems to be constantly changing.. depending on what other manufacturers are doing, as well as changing market conditions.

I am trying to provide a service to people interested in an exciting new product. I am also trying to abide by the conditions of my employ.

If you don't like it, don't look.!!

What do you get in the off road package? I know about better shocks and larger tires.. but what else for about $3,000?

Thanks for the pricing. Sorry to see the fully loaded price of almost $50,000, though.

I'm still deciding between the Armada and Expedition. I read a Canadian first drive review that said the Armada ride was NOT as good as the new Expedition. Do you have any thoughts on that?

driven2theMAX
09-27-2003, 07:33 AM
I read the canadian first drive also. I don't remember the details but of course the Armada was a pre-production model with shoddy interior materials. The Expy to me lacks power and the bose, and is quite common, that's it. The Armada has less storage, more power; less third row head room, more style and boomin' bose. I have an '03 Max and the bose makes my commute a concert-like experience. Also, I'm a big fan of Sirius Satellite Radio as I live in rural WA state. I have multiple mountain passes between me and Seattle and plan on having heavy stuff to tow. For me the answer to Armada VS Expy comes down to passion and driving experience. Fill my ears with melodies and let me shorten the solid line on a two-lane highway. . .give me the NPA!

09-27-2003, 08:07 AM
i think all in all you are getting a better altogether vehicle in the armada,

tons of second row room which is most important, a cool interior and exterior, a powerful drivetrain, great handling and ride quality (best in class altogether although some say the tahoe is a lil more sportier) tons of standard and availible features that otheres simply dont offer, a perfect transmission as many have said, better milage

i think the armada will be a more reliable, maybe in par or better quality, a better rideing experience, altogether something practible yet enjoyable to ride and in regards to third ro seats, the difference is small, and i'd hope onyl kids go back there

The Armada is faster, handles better, stops better, and the sticker price is the same or less than the Ford Expedition.

Even though the Armada weighs 1,000 Lbs. more than the Explorer/Mountaineer, it is still faster, handles better, stops better, has the same or slightly better gas mileage, is far larger, and only costs roughly 15% more.

09-27-2003, 10:57 AM
a decently loaded armada will put u back 36 37 grand while a explorer can cost upwards of 43

driven2theMax: Thanks for the Bose info. Does satellite radio work in all areas?

Yanks7533: Do you have info on mpg? I haven't seen any.

Thanks for reinforcing my decision. Can't wait till Oct to see them here in NY.

Don't quote me on it but I want to say that I saw somewhere that the mileage on the Armada was 13/18. I'm not sure what version it was on, though...

Sirius is based in New York! I was shocked with the digital-quality and variety of programming available in RURAL north central WA.

Forget about the F-350, what about the F-650/ supercrewzer.
