Chrysler Pacifica ...

Well ... it looks like Chrysler's plan to move upscale with the Pacifica has been foiled ... at least in the SF Bay Area.

I just noticed this morning that one of the local cab companies has added Pacifica's to their fleet. I'm thinking that this could be the modern version of the venerable Checker taxi cab http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Well, there are Mercedes E class taxi's in Europe, and even a small number of S class taxi's in Germany . . . . .

Yes, but those MB E class taxis are strippers. No power anything and no leather. Plus their engines are not V8s, but some basic diesels. Basicaly, it's just the skin of E class MB. So this is not a good news for Pacifica if it will be a taxi.
