I e-mailed Grubbs and got the following response about pre-order. Yes, you can configure options you want and they will ship to California. However, there will be $500 non-refundable deposit and it will be MSRP. W/out discount, i'm reluctant to place an order. There's no reason for me to buy it from Grubb's when I can get it locally for MSRP. I know that it's a brand new model and discounts will be hard to come by when it first comes out but eventually they will shave off pricing from the MSRP.
