Can anyone recommend a good Honda/Acura forum? I've searched around on google but nothing I found was very busy. I know there are some big boards out there, I just can't remember them. Thanks!

http://www.honda-acura.net is THE place. Strong on analysis, photo threads, news, etc.
If you're looking for the vocal (strong opinion) people, check http://www.vtec.net

VTEC.net (http://www.vtec.net/)
A good web site for keeping up with the latest news about Honda and Acura products. VTEC.net now has a forum. It's still in its infancy, but it seems to be gaining strength, with a lot of thoughtful discussions on a wide variety of car related topics, some Honda related, some not. Time will tell how the forum holds up.
Honda-Tech.com (http://www.honda-tech.com/)
All types of Honda-related subects, from street cars to race cars. Honda-tech has some excellent racing forums, with many real racers posting instead of the bench racers you find on most forums.

Really?? Wow, i must be aged beyond my years. Any website with a Ride of the Month column is too young for my blood. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks guys, I found Honda-Acura.net but it just didn't seem to be that busy. Yeah, the 92+ Civic forum and Integra has a lot of posts, but the part I was looking for (TL/CL) is dead, on the first page they have threads going back a month with most threads having under five replies! I guess I couldn't wish for the volume or quality posting we have here on FA. There's more info here on the new 04 TL than at that forum!

Neither Honda-Acura nor VTEC have as much discussion about CL/TL as you'll find within, say, the community of Nissan Maxima fanatics. But that doesn't you mean you should look and ask questions on the Acura boards if you have something you need to know.

i've been a mod on honda-acura.net for over 4 years now (crx, news & rumors, track technique forums)...it's a good general site with your usual mix of open minded users and the usual biased opinionated bunch that i can mess with http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif
for tl info i'd go to a specific tl board as you'll get more info you want there
i like fa as it seems to have more openminded members with the exception of some...also can usually get help with friends nissan cars and a future s13 project

h-a.net is booooooooring... I only go there for the facts (like what MrFatBooty posts)! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
For argument, there's nothing like FA. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That may all be true, but I'll never forgive how the guy who runs (or ran) Honda-Tech commandeered Honda-Acura.net a few years ago to create this website.
For the longest time, I kept getting spam from these guys because they took the H-A.net member list when they took over H-A.
But I will concur that Honda-Acura is a good general resource. The folks are friendly, courteous, and generally more open-minded than other boards. It's a pretty Nissan friendly board.

The basic premise is someone got access to their admin panel, banned all the mods/admins and opened up the moderator forum for all the users to see, hahaha, owned.
The first three entries on this page detail the exact reason and give information and such, it's pretty funny, so much interweb drama.

And here a link to the mod forum.

Looks like they were doing some scandalous s h i t, so this time, <3 for hackers.
EDIT: The forum is currently being held hostage, because the owners have NO way of getting into the admin panel to give themself administrative priveleges again.
Daaaaaaaaaaaamn... doing some reading, here is some stuff they were doing:
-Secret Santa Scam: advertisers were giving them parts to give to members and they rigged it to divide amongst the mods/admins
-Raffle Scams
-Selling email addresses to porn/spam companies
-Ban/Warn quota per month so that the moderators could stay moderators, and then they were paid dependent upon their quota.
-Charging advertisers different prices and then dividing the money amongst themselves.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn is all I have to say.
mods, move this to General Mayhem if you want, I just posted here because it was car related.

seems like a hoax now albeit a VERY immature one
http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=114596
that was a hoax...we wanted to do something fun, something another board has never done...users who would have read that info should have gotten the idea that we are not getting paid (board is a money loser even with advertising), selling private info (illegal), no ban or warning quotas etc...we just wanted to make it outrageous...some people were offended by it but most thought it was hilarious

that was why it was so "scandalous"...so much illegal sh1ts going on
anyways, glad you guys had fun, didnt really think it was that funny but i dont read that board anyways so it dont matter

That's nice dear.
Now can we return to the all-important task of finding the ultimate Honduh forum?
