According to this, you won't be able to make sharp looking cars like this:

Will not be able to be made because of the DRIVERS keep runnin over pedestrians.

I think it sux cause instead of punishing drivers or stupid pedestrians, they punish carmakers who can come out with beautiful cars, but won't be able to.

That's the way it's supposed to be anyways.
I lived in Europe and I traveled in many European countries. I would say that both, pedestrians and drivers are the most organized in Europe. Just follow the rules.
In Boston I am amazed sometimes. I see dumb@sses crossing in the middle of the street with no crosswalk, walking diagonally and looking into totally opposite direction of upcoming cars. Sometimes I wish they went to Europe or even NY for a week or so.

So I am actually surprised to see that this new law is coming from Europe. I guess if you are hit by a car in Europe - you are dead because drivers assume that pedestrians will not walk everywhere whenever they want, so the speed of impact is high.

People are still going to die or get injured regardless of the design of the car. I find this ruling to be very stupid....since its not the carmarkers fault...but instead the driver and pedestrian.
