I can't find a lot of the exact information I'm looking for on these, which are found on the Evo.
The exhaust manifold pairs the two cylinders and keeps them divided to keep velocity up and prevent the exhaust pulses from interfering with each other.
The turbine housing also has a divider that mats up to the manifold.
My questions is are there two turbines in a single housing? I would expect to see two little turbines matted together.
Or is it just one single turbine, but fed by both "volutes"?

the evo has a regular old 16G and a standard mitsubiti flange on the manifold(er a big 16g...different compressor wheel i think)

anyway, only one turbine wheel

Not sure about that on the evo. The STi uses twinscroll but it has 2 exhaust wheels driving one compressor wheel...maybe the evo unit is similar.

That is the site I was looking at before.
I don't think there is 2 turbines. Twin scroll is under the pulse turbocharging theory, where you keep the exhaust pulses seperated to prevent them from interfering with each other.
What I think is the confusing part is the word "twin-scroll". Kinda like ground wires are called earthing wires.
