OK - pop quiz afterwards.

Here in Canada we have the Chevy Epica, called the Magnus in Korea (made by Daewoo) - In Europe The Magnus/Epica is called the Evanda and of course in Canada & the US Magnus/Epica/ Evanda is sold as the Suzuki Verona

Now, lets add the Chevy Aveo, Pontiac Wave, Suzuki Swift+, Daewoo Kalos. OK OK - So then Canada has the Chevy Optra - sold in US (of course) as Suzuki Forenza

So now - Pop quiz - Does GM make cars anymore?

Yeah, just [censored] ones. GM buys other companies that make superior cars rather than making superior cars themselves.

The GM cars that people actually care about are not the small or lower-midsize ones (Malibu, or even the Grand Am outside of Chicago and Detroit), but rather the Impalas, Monte Carlos, Grand Prixes, Bonnevilles, LeSabres, Sevilles, Devilles, etc.

Scary - Monte Carlo sales demographic is 45 to 55 year old males - except fot GP & impala - the others are 65 year old to dead males

With the exception of the Vette, I don't think GM make any contribution to the automobile industry anymore. GM's manufacturing principle is "Well, somebody's gotta be at the bottom, right?"

I wouldn't go that far, their trucks are decent, vette, solstice, g6, etc are nice; Cadillac is in line for the top of the luxury department if they keep on the pace they are on; gm has the potential, they just have to use it.
