Both my work IP and home IP are banned from there and I don't care enough to use a proxy server to get on. If it's posted on there it wasn't by me.

I'm thinking I may show up for this one. I haven't met any people from Freshalloy that aren't/weren't in Japan yet, anyway.

Anyone else bring their women to this thing?

How about, if someone does something stupid just report it to the cops next door?

I know I will.

Um i dont think calling the cops is a good idea i know you dont drive around with a top mount turbo on an sr20det but I do and having a bunch of chp stalking around a meet taking down liscense plate numbers asking questions and waiting for us to leave and drive home because some other ahole squeeled his tires or tried to bust a half -a-ed drift leaving. I dont think there will be a big problem with that if sam and everyone just passes the word around to not F off. In case someone does i just want to know when you guys are calling the chp and the mobile smog station so i can take my 62-1 home before they show up and start hanging out, this isnt texas, this isnt florida, its CHP land...

It should be common sense not to do anythng dumb. That's all that should be said.

Common sense would be common if everyone had it. If anyone sees someone else about to do something stupid, just go up to them and tell them to park and/or go away.

Can you not read?

If someone does something stupid I will call the cops.

So, if no stupid stunts are done, why would there be a need to call the cops?

Just don't bust out with the same lame excuse if you do something stupid (like last summer when your excuse for speeding in the park was "My wastegate was open").

nobody called the cops (at least i dont think so) but its hard to miss about 30 240's and numerous other sports car lined up and the cop station is less than 300 feet away (suggestion to planner of next event, have it further away from a CHP station plz!)

You guys do realize that large car gatherings like this are a big no-no in the area(s) patrolled by L.A. County Sheriff's department in the 60 freeway corridor, right?

I didn't want to rain on anyone's parade but a gathering like this so close to a police station would not last long before it is broken up.

Any police department with public safety on their mind would crack down on this. While it is true that not all enthusiasts are bad people, try convincing a police chief that.

Yeah, and the time was not good, either. I had to drive through traffic for half the trip... first south of LA, then on the 57 on the way in there.. stop and go for miles. That was terrific.

I was there just after 7:00 and stayed til about 9:30 when the cops decided it was enough. I was asking around who was there from Fresh Alloy. I met a few people and found a few guys I know from here. Everybody was pretty cool for the most part.

I think the guys who were rolling by in non-240sx's were the only ones creating any tension there, trying to show how their ride is better than the many, many 240's at the meet. It really made me laugh. I was smart and parked the Miata far off on the side of the lot. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I didn't see any highly modified cars there, however I did see some very clean SR20 swaps. I guess most of these shops out here like to go the extra mile to keep them clean. It's just too bad it costs so much money to get started with an SR that a lot of people can't afford to tune it right off that bat.
