Now that is how a Mercedes should look, inside and out. If the next C and S classes are this nice, it would be a nice turnaround from the cheap touches that plague the current models.

It looks like that interior hasn't been toned down much. Hopefully the new M45 will be as faithful to the Fuga. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

That thing is uglier than the last generation Caprice.

It kinda reminds me of the BMW 6 series.

Caprice? Solara? LOL, I like it but it's a bit polarizing I guess.

Not that I would take a CLS over a Fuga anyway, no no no. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The profile resembles the Maybach.

They stole the interior from Jaguar! Overall i like the profile of the car, very different yet sexy!

Mercedes put a couple of extra doors on the 1990s Lexus SC and then called up Jaguar for the interior.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif But why? Oh that's right, Benz is out of good ideas of their own.

looks awkward in pics, but better in person. Kind of boring to me overall though.

I like it but I don't know if I'd want to pay 80k for it.

Probably a lot better looking in person, but I'm not enjoying it. There's too much round for me. I like a few angles on cars... and I don't like the CTS b/c that's too many. I like the new BMW's much better.

I'll have to wait to see it in person because I got tricked by the the pic's of the new BMW 6 series. I thought the new BMW 6 series was a good looking car by the pictures. However, when I saw it in person it looked bloated and too fat to be a really good sporty GT.....

The 6 reminded me of a fat Toyota Solara. In real life the car comes off looking really bulbous. You miss the sharp lines that are shown so nicely in the official BMW pic's floating around... bleh...

what is the purpose of this car?

meaning...why did they make this car?..where does it fit in the line-up?

I'm very confused to why Mercedes made this car. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

CLS = S Class for Women.

If you don't believe, go through Mercedes CLS press release. Similarly, SL is targetted at male, CLK convertible is tagetted at female.

Because when women are angry, they take the guy's garage queen out to shopping rampage. Go to Newport Beach and observe 60+ women grinding gears in Vintage Ferraris with shopping bags in the passenger seat.
