I am looking at the QX56 brochure, and on p.25 it indicates that: "The console also houses a flip-down color monitor (part of the available Infiniti DVD Mobile Entertainment System)...", and shows a picture. This is obviously for the 3rd row passengers. I don't recall this being mentioned as an option on the website. Does anyone have any further insight on this? Is it really "part of the available Infiniti DVD Mobile Entertainment System"?
thats interesting, is the screen in the overhead track, or somethin your can move it one

There is no moving it around, and there isn't a third row one. There should be a 3rd row screen.... If a 30,000 Quest has it, why not a 51,000 QX?

It is in the overhead console. I will try and scan the page so that others can see what I am talking about.

There is only one screen and it is located in front of the center seat. Nothing else available.

Was it something originally planned, but then axed at the last minute? What is pictured is clearly not the same monitor as the one for the 2nd row passengers.

The picture on page 25 shows a storage bin being folded down to hold DVD cases. The monitor is well forward of that. Look at the picture on the subpages of page 18 and you will see the monitor. Turn to page 26 (or look at the other picture on page 25) and you should be able to see the position of the monitor is in the overhead console in front of the control buttons and ac control. The storage bin you saw on page 25 is between the four air vents and lights in the overhead console.

You know what, those are DVD's. My bad. I guess my excitement blurred my vision a bit. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I've been trying to figure in the QX to get to the Tire preasure moniter and to change the voice of the Nav from a woman to a man.
