Here aboev is a comparison of the 5.4 to a 5.0. LS1's are damn near the same size as the 5.0, so it's a good comparison.
Modular Fords are a very wide block, and I realistically dont' see it fitting without MAJOR modication. I'm a Ford guy to the bone, and think nothing beats the Eaton whine on a Mod, but the fact remains it would be counter productive to spend the time when you can have a much better peforming LSx....
