Default 2004 Coupe 6MT- Carribbean Blue or Twilight Blue?

I'm having a hard time deciding between the two blues. Carribean has more "bling" but twilight is nice as well.

No black, silvers, or red for me.

Twilight is more "executive", Carribbean is more "free spirit" or "yes, I am a girl in a sports car". Just my opinion.

CB is the least-made color by Infiniti, which means most people don't prefer it. I've seen pix of that color in the shade and the blue is very rich looking, but in the sun I don't like it.

Twilight Blue looks black in the shade but in the sun it's very nice. Plus, it would be easier to sell than a caribbean blue, I would think.

No, I am not a girl in a sports car.

Yes, I am a guy driving a Caribbean Blue sports coupe.

Most people don't prefer CB? Maybe, but then again most people prefer some form of silver, and by your definition thats exactly why Nissan pumps out tons of bland boring ever so me-too shades of silver.

CB Harder to sell? Not likely...economically speaking, if the color is more rare, it will be easier to sell it later on because demand for that rarity will increase, no? I'm just guessing.

I'm just going to go ahead and guess that your opinions are ever so slightly swayed by your purchase of a DG
You just can't have the same feeling as an owner of one of these colors, sorry.

But yes, CB is a very unique and sporty color for the coupe. Just like Sunset Orange is very special on the Z's. Just think about walking out to the parking lot, seeing mostly bland colors and seeing your shiny blue coupe standing out shining in the sun, it's a great feeling, been there.

The TB is nice, but it's just a bluish shade of black to me. Yep, I am CB biased.

To pretty much anyone in the pre-owned higher end car bizz a blue car is commonly noted at "no sale blue" meaning they sit on the lot till dusted off in 30-45 days. this goes for anything that looks electric/bright/metallic blue. typically, they are more difficult to sell, its a fact.

Caribbean Blue is like a metallic bikini, twilight blue is like a one-piece lingerie. Which do you prefer?

As far as resale value, don't argue it. We all know CB coupe is probably less than 3% of total production to date, but if you go to Ebay, you'll see many CB sedan/coupes for sale. Why? because not many people are daring enough to buy a car this color.

My girlfriend likes the Carribean Blue better than the Twilight Blue, and my thinking is that if I'm going to spend this much on a car, I want it to stand out. I've had 3 black cars in a row and am now ready for some "bling"! So I hope I can find a CB! Thanks for your input!

Seeing as I don't spend much time in the auto-sales industry (thank God), I guess I was wrong about the resale value of "blue." Thanks guys.

You can take as many opinions as you want, but its all up to you. Get what YOU want, not what you THINK everyone wants you to get. I chose CB because I was, like you, tired of driving black. I never looked back, enjoy!

For the record, I knew about the resale of CB before I bought the car, and for once I didn't give a damn about what other people (like Riff) would say and its resale value. The G35C is a sport coupe, so naturally I would want it in a sporty color.

Ferraris are red
Lambos are yellow
Mercedes are silver
and Skylines are blue.

Not to mention my fiance says the color matches her eye shade. Another plus. If you are crazy enough, join the club.

so i work at this software place, where everyone seems to have nice cars (stock options and all)

anyhow, downstairs, there is a twilight blue and a carribean blue coupe. the girl drives the carribean the twilight is driven by a guy.

personally after seeing the twilight though, its too boring for the coupe. i had seen it on a sedan before and thought i liked it, but it just doesnt seem to fit the coupe. the carribean blue coupe is an AT with the 17" rims though. that looks pretty bad too, the coupe was just not made for 17" rims , particularly the stock ones.

IMO, CB is too light for me.

I personally like the TB because under different lighting conditions, it can look black or blue under others. Don't see too many TBs out in SoCal.

I've had 3 black cars in a row and I'm looking for a CB right now. They're hard to find, but I have found some that I am considering. I originally was going to get a twilight blue until I saw how black it was in direct sunlight and it was simply too dark and it hid the lines of the Coupe. If I'm going to spend this much on a car, I want it to have some bling this time, and my girlfriend agrees. Also, if the twilight blue is scratched, the light color base easily shows through which will be harder to see on the CB.

Get the twilight blue (similar to the old Blue/Black on the old '85 300ZX).
The less CBs, the better....and no, I am not a chick - (aimed at whatever jacka$$ made that comment)

FYI, if you go to Edmunds.com and do the Total Market Value for a used G35 coupe (similar to KBB), they show a deduction in value for CB and TB! Some other colors add value to the car.

Just an observation, not making any comments about those two blues.
