Default PopCharger Gains Vs. Ztube/K&N

If I already have the Ztube and K&N filter, am I only adding sound by putting my Ztube with a popcharger? I know people claim to get boosts with the combo but I haven't seen any comparisons between the tube and K&N airfilter vs the tube and Pop Charger.

Well,

Most of the gain is from the Z-Tube. So if you do the Z-Tube alone you are going to be making more power.

Adding the Pop Charger will mostly change the sound. You will get more of a PSSSSSSSSP when tapping the throttle as well as a larger ROAR at WOT.

But. I will let others say more.

As for HP difference. It is probably 2 more HP for the Pop Charger.

Cant go wrong either way though!

Like you, I had the "Z" tube and the K&N DropIn. I replaced the filter box with the Pop-Charger. I really don't feel that much of a difference in the power, like I have felt with my other mods. IMO, the added sound is worth the price of admission. BTW, My K&N DropIn, with about 5K miles on it, is for sale if anyone is interested.

Maybe because we chose not to. I have not read many good reports on CIAs. Ask the experts, they seem to think the "Z" tube and K&N is the best thing for our cars. The POP-Charger doesn't hurt, but doesn't really bring that much to the table either, other than sound. CIA, any CIA, not form me.
