    Street car named "Desire" build

Well here she is, 91' with a 98 ka24de motor. When I bought her she was already turbo'd but was running extremly bad. I had the wiring harness cleaned up because of the birdsnest of wires everywhere due to the auto to manual conversion. Since bringing her home I have been ordering parts to change the way the turbo setup looks. Alot of people have commented that they like this setup but if I was in a front end collision I would lose everthing instead of the bumper and radiator.

My goal is to finish this build by the end of the year, well see how far the moohlah takes me. As of now the car has:

    Tial knock-off bov
    T4 turbo
Custom manifold(which is for sell$160 shipped)
    Intercooler(unknown brand)
    Prosport boost gauge
    H4 headlight conversion
    Type X bumper
A Penzoil oil container as a radiator coolant resevoir(not shown, its in between the intercooler and radiator)

    LETS BEGIN!!

Yes, that is a Crown Royal bag and no, not from me..lol

Here she is with my other boo..lol

    Awesome a real Nissan "family"
kinda reminds me of almost 10 years ago when I had a SR'ed Sivlia front end 89 Coupe with a 94 Q45 as a comfort car.
of course my 94 Q was not as nice as your Y34...

Thanks Palmer, I wuv Nissan. I'll post a funny picture for you later this evening..

Well, changed the injectors today to 370cc. The injectors came with the car so im hope they work. I might to do a fuel rail test and injector test to find out. Also, recieved my ecu back from Enthaply so I went ahead and slapped that in. I do believe my spark plugs are fouled though, you tell me from the pics...lol. i really hope this is the reason for my rough idle.

yep, every last one of them were like this, also smelled a hint of gasoline. They were not wet with gas but just a smelled like it, is that normal?

This is for sale..60mm vent pod

    Those plugs definetly needed help.

a little gas smell is no big deal though on a richly tuned FI car.

I went out and bought some NGK BRK6E-11 today to replace the BRK7EIX. BRK7EIX are impossible to find locally. I also ordered BRK7E just in case the 6E-11 dont work. I guess I start the gap at .038 and work my way down..

Yeaaaaa, Its X-mas in April. On the plate is a:

    CxRacing coolant resivoir

    HKS Bov(most likely knock-off)

Innovate Motorsports turbo timer and wideband

    T4 top mount manifold

    CxRacing intercooler

    300zx fuel filter

    and Intercooler piping

I was driving it today for the first time in ages. After replacing the spark plugs it idles very well just a little rough but thats due to the current bov. I was so excited that I was driving the car I hit hard boost and this happend...

car wouldnt go past 10 miles per hour with gas pedal floored. Gotta reseat it.

Well car ran great for about 5 minutes then fell flat on its face. The rpms were high at first around 12-1500 then it began to overheat, so I pulled over to let it cool down. Started it back up and now it idles at 500 rpm will not go pass it. Once I limped home I pulled the spark plugs and they were super black like the picture above. I guess Im running super rich and im fowling my plugs. I think a tune is in order. Also installed a Safc 2 so gotta play with that.

Yesterday, replaced the Crown Royal bag with oem vinyl boot and somewhat programmed SAFC, not sure what the hell im doing really. Gotta buddy who gonna help with this!!

Also, scraped all the sound material out the rear and trunk  it was awful. Luckly it wasnt super soft and gooey. I mostly chiseled it away then took a drill with a metal brush attachment and Goo-Gone to finisih the rest. Had a little surface rust bu that got cleared up. Went ahead and primered it flat black then painted it flat black. Cant wait for the new carpet to come in!

Ok so ended up getting another turbo 60-1. I wrinkle finshed the new piping red(wish I had black couplings) and did the same with the brake resivoir. I also started the interior project. I'm doing the the pillars in red suede, hopefully have finished by this week.

What's up bro, you going all out on this one!!! Cant wait to see the finished product... btw I used to have the LC-1 wideband on my Audi TT (on red) a couple of years ago, great choice man, very good quality!!!

About the BOV... I used to have a real HKS ssqv on my TT as well and it was perfect & sounded beautifully, I got lucky I found it used on craiglist and all I had to do was modify the flange other than that it was very good product as well, it this is knock off be careful...
