Yep, runs perfect !! A few cosmetic things & clear coat is starting to thin out, but for 10+ years in FL I can't complain.
Still get complements on the color

Whew! When I saw the title of this thread I was afraid you were telling us your wife was leaving you.

I've never run a car 100k miles, Mike, so I don't know what it feels like. But I imagine all those years without a car payment have been nice.

    LOL !!

I've not kept many cars this long or for as many miles. The wife's '88 Honda Accord LX was 8 years old & 150K miles when it got traded (she was driving a long way to work at the time). It was still going strong but with that many miles I was afraid it could breakdown & leave her stranded @ nite in one of the bad parts of Tampa she was driving thru coming home from work. It still had all it's OEM parts when traded (even the water pump !).

    Kept my '94 Q45 to 7 yrs & 90K miles - still sorry I sold that one

Still love driving the G, she's the "go to" car in the stable, just can't bring myself to part with the old girl

I hope you and your wife work things out.

My G just hit 175,000 miles last week while taking dad to the airport. It is now the highest-mileage car that we've ever had in my family. It runs flawlessly. It had a fair amount of work done in 2010-11, the biggest issue being the transmission replacement due to maintenance neglect, but it's needed absolutely nothing since. I had the fluid changed in January as the new tranny just hit 60,000 miles, and the shifts are unbelievably smooth and quick.

Just like my Altima, it continues to want to run- be driven hard, even- and show zero mechanical signs of its age. The most impressive thing is the original suspension- the thing never seems to need and alignment, even though it occasionally deals with NYC potholes and some of the roads here are a bit poor (not to Michigan standards though). It still rides smoothly and exhibits the well-controlled, properly damped body motions that it did 12 years ago. I'm in the northeast, but there is no rust anywhere (nor is there on my Altima, except the steel wheels).

Anyone who has one of these: hold onto it! These things are going to go a million miles or more, like a great Merc. I know that the second-generation (V36) of the G sedan/coupe is, if anything, even more durable. I hope that the Q50 continues this tradition.

Great testimony, Jay. I've never run a car that long, and I have to hand it to you.

Mine has been pretty repair free, probably the fewest repairs I've ever had done on a car.

The head unit went under warranty & was replaced (typical for the '03's). There was some suspension bit around 70k, then all 3 cam/crank sensors around 90 - 95K. Other than that, it's just been routine maintenence. Even asked about the struts last time I was in figuring they had to be shot @ 100K, but the dealer said they looked fine and he rarely has to replace them unless the car's been in an accident or hit some extreme pothole etc.

Like I said, this is still my go-to car out of the stable !
If the M or Vert were to disappear I wouldn't really care. I'd really miss the G tho if it went away (stolen, totaled etc.)
