    Renault Talisman, Altimas european cousin

This is the new Renault Talisman:

It is based on the same platform as the Rouge, X-Trail elsewhere (Altima too?) and is available with four wheel drive in ordered so.

In my opinion this is a rather well designed car that feels like a quality product according to media report. It looks good inside and out. Renault says that their aim is to make a better VW Passat and from what can be seen in the pictures here they are right

Altima and Rogue do not share the same platform. I believe the Rogue is based on a new modular platform.
    My Opin.

    Former: 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5SE Sedan 6MT [Totaled :( ]
    Current: 2013 Infiniti G37S 6MT Sedan

Wow, that big ol' honkin' badge on the snout is ugly! Otherwise, the car is nice-looking in a restrained sort of way.

LOL, I agree the grill badge is a little over the top. Interior is conservative but nice. $64K question will be build quality & reliability.

Is Renault's reliability still as bad as their reputation suggests? I don't have any recent data for them, or any other brand sold in Europe but not here. The last that I heard is that they were so bad that they made early 00s BMW/Mercedes/Audi look like Toyota/Lexus.

My wild guess is that it's still not good. Nissan's profits have literally been keeping Renault alive within the alliance. Maybe Ghosn should kill Renault and finally invest the proper finances and efforts into the Infiniti brand. But nah, too much national pride for France to let that happen. Instead, we hear him say stuff like, "You know, we don't need to do Infiniti."

I guess we can say it is looks more exciting than the Laguna that it replaced.

    I really like the rear:

And the side view is nice, too. It's growing on me.
