Thread: Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas Eve, and everyone is probably getting ready for a big night tonight and maybe a big Christmas dinner tomorrow.

Wherever you are and wherever you go, be careful and have a safe and happy celebration. Hopefully you can be with family and friends and share the food, fun and enjoyment with them. But even if not, take a minute to reflect on the meaning of the day and think about all the many blessings we have - living in a free country, having all the food, clothing and material things that many other people don't, and not having to wonder if tomorrow will bring bombs, bullets and blood.

Celebrate the joy of Christmas, say a prayer for our military, and give thanks for all we have as Americans.

If someone blows up a school with a bomb they go after the bomber ... if someone shoots up a school they go after the gun.

A privilege is just a right that has been taken away by government.

Political correctness is cowardice wrapped in a lie.

Thanks folks. I'm thinking about staying up 'til the fat guy gets here. I hope I make it. I made myself feel pretty good this week. Whenever I ate out the server got a $20 minimum tip. Today the cook and the dishwasher did as well. Someone paid for my breakfast. While I did it for myself I hope they got some good out of it. Something we should all do more often, I suppose. 'tis the season should be a year round event.

A person I've hired (and an awesome worker) brought over some stuff last night. I was shocked, overwhelmed, and completely impressed with the gesture. Made the holiday for me. Probably because there was no expectation and why the holiday thing matters most.
