Okay, here's what I want now

    Scorpion.jpg

    CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 9mm carbine.

    Folding stock, 16.2" hammer-forged barrel, semi-auto, 10-, 20-, or 30-round magazines. Non-reciprocating charging handle with MP5-style lockback and release.

The one shown has a fake suppressor on it, but it can be removed and a real one screwed on, or you can get it with a simple flash hider. I kind of like the fake can look, since it makes it look beefier.

I've wanted a pistol-caliber carbine for years and never found one I really liked at a price I liked. The price for this one hurts my feelings a little, since it costs $850 or more when it can be found. That's a price for a good rifle, and this is essentially a long-barrelled pistol. But I still want it.

I agree it looks hot..probaly is a good weapon... but I have a powerful aversion to Czechs products.

You just don't like their stuff, or have you had a bad experience? I had a couple of different CZ75 pistols back in the day, and really liked their designs and the way they shot. This rifle gets really good reviews, but the $850-950 price puzzles me when you can get an AR for $550 and a really good hunting rifle for less than that. Must be a supply and demand thing.

    Its a moral choice.
50% of the territory of the Czech republic is the result of a modern genocide with years worth of extermination and concentration camps killing approx 25% of the native and indigenous population of the Sudetenland between 1945 and 1949.

Involving many public torture orgies also, not trying to be a downer but I will gladly supply links as well.

Its the Holocaust you are not allowed to talk about in Europe (in some countries you will literary see criminal sanctions if you do, when people put up wreaths for the victims at the major massacre and camp sites Czech police will show up and throw them away etc etc)
This enforced silence in porevious decades has achieved its aim as many are ignorant of it now.

in recent years even they have been trying to make money with the good name of their victims like "Budweiser Beer" from CZ as just one example.

There us no town of Budweis in CZ as the Czechs were so proud of their complete genocide on the indigenous and majority population of that town they renamed the town to Ceske Budowice. which translates as Czech Budweis.
Sellier and Belliot Ammo etc etc.

Almost everything that is made in CZ is made from stolen property of murder victims

A downer but if our time on the internet serves any purpose consciousness rasing can always be one of them, here just a small excert from a survivors website

I don't doubt that, Fred. But if we're to take the moral high ground, we can't do any business with Russia, either, since Stalin is said to have been responsible for 50 million deaths and Soviet regimes have murdered hundreds of thousands more right up to the present day.

And of course, Germany is off limits, since Hitler killed 6 million Jews and dragged his country into a terrible war.

Japan committed horrible atrocities in their imperial period and pulled us into WWII with a sneak attack that killed over 2,400 Americans.

Africa has been the site of all manner of purges and political mass murders and violence.

China is one of the most repressive regimes in modern history.

Southeast Asia has seen some of the most vicious and murderous regimes in history.

I'm not trying to be dramatic, but if we exclude every nation that has a bad history, we won't be trading with much of anyone.

Well Stalin was Georgian and the
russian people were his victims as much as everyone else.

The point about CZ is not that they have a dirty past ( we pretty much ALL do) but that this modern genocide forms the basis of their territory and to this day the Benes decrees, which "legalized" all robbery rape torture and murder is still in force today. The CZ justice system is actively denying prosecution.
Unlike the Polish justice system I might add= which at least attempted to prosecute a post war colonel who ran a death camp for both german civlians and nationalist poles murdering tens of thousands.

For awhile there was even a Czech member in parliament who had openly speaking about the murder of some germans he comitted and he never saw the inside of a jail cell.

Plus they are trying to use the good name of their victims form selling beer to tourism.

Look how they are advertising Prague the ancient german city the birthplace of modern high german as a "Czech" tourist destination.
In that sense the genocide is still ongoing and no attempt resitting or right of return has been made.
As for the Czech republic denial by some and celebration by others is the rule of the day.

Its basically like dealing with a paralell universe Nazi Germany that won the war and is outright celebrating its successful holocaust and is making good business out of stolen jewish property.

    Thats the moral equivalent.
