Upon closer examination, I don't believe your claim that this is a "wife car" ... there is no evidence in the pictures of curb rash.

LOL, that's because she doesn't fool around with curb rash, she dents the entire wheel so it has to be replaced !!

Err, still had to pony up the deductible, so not really cheaper !

She bent the inside lip and the barrel all the way to the center. Ins. wanted to send it to some place to be 'repaired'. I demanded a new wheel & finally won.
They do consider it an 'accident' tho (she had to have hit SOMETHING). She claims she did not pound thru a pothole, go off the road or bang a parking curb

Wheel was pretty bad IMO & even the dealer was surprised it was holding air. There was no cut or chunk on the tire & it did not need realignment - very weird.
