I really hope this is true, I keep looking at used Xterra's and thinking what a great vehicle it is. Love the height, you can wash it out, it can fit a sheets of dry wall, good payload and towing, off-road ability and 4x4 system. The only drawback is the gas mileage. The mention in the article about it being "softer" is contrary to the reports about the next Frontier being more like the hardbody hence tougher than the Navara.

This article just came out with a Navara based SUV (Body on frame design). China is likely to announce it as the new Paladin which was just a rebadged Xterra. My guess is this will likely be the new Xterra. If so, I am all in.https://www.outlookindia.com/website...in-2018/303812

    I like that interior shot.
not fully warmed up to the exterior rendering.. But thats what it is a rendering using Nissans corporate truck look.

In those pics it does look more like a continuation of the body-on-frame Pathfinder than an Xterra which is (supposed to be) a much shorter wheelbase vehicle.
