Great month! A bit unexpected! And I love how they preliminarily reported JUST 14% on Friday and come out with an actual 18% increase.

GO TITAN! Is that it's best sales month ever? I see a TON of them here in Houston. Like SERIOUSLY. based on the amount that I see, I would imagine they sell about 20k of these a month. I wonder if they have started sales and marketing in different regions outside of the initial launch?

Sux that the Rogue will most likely fall behind the RAV4 for the year. The Rogue is about 11k behind the RAV4 after its random spike to over 40k for a couple of months... I think Toyota purposely increased fleet sales those couple of months just to spite Nissan and keep it from having the #1 title, which Toyota typically holds with the Camry. The Rogue was doing great and had #1 locked down, but Toyota has the upper hand on capacity. The Rogue would have to crank out over 55k in Dec in order to take the #1 spot... That would be crazy, but I don't think it's realistic.

Infiniti is doing great, for what they have. Good to see the Q50 back up since it's refresh. It really is a beautiful car and the Red Sport is a bargain!

Looks like they may not pass Caddy and Acura this year as it seemed, but they are closer than ever. I wonder if they can break the 160k mark this year. They have their work cut out for them this month as they moved over a record 18k last Dec. I'm hoping for the first time ever they sell over 20k in a month. But we shall see. They did surpass that Dec 2016 record in March this year by a couple 100 units.

It shall be interesting to see how the new QX50 performs in the market. I wonder what their sales goals are. I think it could consistently move over 5k a month once production gets cranking. That easily puts them on the tails of Audi. I think once the QX50 hits its stride, Infiniti could easily go from moving about 13k a month to 15-17K on the average month and 20k on the good months like March and Dec.

I probably see about 1-2 per month up here in the northeast. I am thinking that they still haven't rolled out their marketing plan to the entire country yet. I don't see any adverts for it in any form. It is nice to see the number go up, just imagine what it will look like when they actually begin marketing it to the rest of the country. FYI, the last commercial they did (No Lazy Horses) for it was wicked funny!

I want Nissan to go all out on incentives if they have to. Just for this month to kick rav4 back to the bottom where it belongs.

Thats about how many I see in one trip to work here in Houston. Just the other day while running to get my lunch I saw 4-5 of them in a 20-30minute time span. I was close to a dealer, but they didn't look fresh off the lot and I think 2 had trailers they were towing, which is also something I see regularly, new Titans towing trailers.

Yea, I wonder where they are in the staggered launch. Judging by the jump in sales, it seems they opened up to a new market. I hope they are at least able to crack the 10k range consistently. While its obvious they didn't go extreme with a boat load of innovations in the class, but I think they surely brought a SOLID truck to the market. I think it looks good on the road as well.

In the back of my head I was thinking the same thing! Lol. Just do it Nissan! But it wouldn't be wise in the long term. I really want to see Nissans fleet breakdown because many people in the enthusiast world are writing off Nissans sales success because they think it's all fleet sales. I know they have a higher rate than Honda and Toyota, but I don't think all of the sales increases they have seen over all these years are riding on fleet. I am interested in seeing how the new Altima does. I wonder if both the Rogue and Altima could pull off 30k a few times.

Side note... Am I the only one that was not aware that Nissan had the largest auto manufacturing plant in the US? Smyrna. I think in actual size and production output. I was shocked when I found that out a week ago.
