    Last Two Firearms Purchased

Ruger revolvers have been my choice for many years. They fit my hands quite well, have always been reliable and are extremely accurate.

Recently, I purchased my first Ruger riffle, a 9mm PC Carbine. It is a terrific recreational shooter and I believe to be a very good home defense weapon.

My last purchase was an early Ruger designed semiautomatic pistol, the SR9. My first and only range shooting so far was a most positive experience. The pistol is a full size model with the length of sight radius that I find best suited for my eyes.

the SR9 has been superseded by a number of models including the RAP and Security 9. The advantage i find with my SR9 is that both it and my PC Carbine take the same magazines as well as the same caliber ammuinition.

Wish I could post photos of me shooting but sorry, the only photo I like that by Mike with me shooing my Gp-100.

I no longer have any of my Ruger revolvers. Gave them all away to friends.

I will attach a few of Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix where i shoot other shots of my two Rugers. My avatar is the photo Mike took of me at Ben Avery

Looking at my collection of photos I found one with me holding another rifle. It was taken in August 1949 during my time in boot camp.

As a matter of fact, it was while in the Navy that I first found a love for firearms. More importantly, I found the love of my life, Marie - my wife. We married during the Korean War.

Photos of her in her WAVE uniform, me in boot with my rifle and now, the old man I am today.

Yes, me too in this monsoon season's 115+F days with winds no more than 70mph and 11" of rain per hour.

I am sure that for us the day we go will be clear, warm (not hot), sunny and gorgeous with us never printing our of the 10 ring.
