I like The Straight Pipes. I love the balance of one being a complete car head and the other being an enthusiast yet your typical millennial and so gong ho about tech and such. But yes, they seemed to love the Z. People keep crying it's old but it truly is a gem in todays racing towards electrification market. Its rare you can find a NA V6 300hp+ RWD sports car and available with a 6-spd, brand new.
    My Opin.

yes you are right.. its rare and important part of the automotive landscape.
    And cool.
And its doesnt beep at you for everything like my 2019 Mercedes rental does.
That things buzzes on about one thing or another all the time.

It is refreshing to see a car without all the nanny's !!
I know they are annoying as hell in our new Honda and we've turned most of it off. Very distracting to have the car beeping at you or flashing crap in the cluster every 15 seconds.

A woman I work with has a new Altima as a loaner while her Mazda MX5 gets repaired & she is complaining about all the beeps & alerts.

    How new is that Altima?
    A 19?
Because my 14 was fairly silent ( and essentially same car all the way up to 18)

When I was young they tried to sell me Count Chocula. Today it's about Apple car play. Expensive and worthless. Now Nissan is selling cars that brake if you release the gas pedal. I'm against everthing until all cars have this stuff. My car does unexpected stuff for me which also includes the confused driver behind me. What we had in the past worked OK. What we have now is a hodge podge of I'm not sure what.

    The Z seems awesome though.
