Available Modifications

Drivetrain Performance
ECU There are currently no ECU upgrades available for the car because of its complex OBD-II emissions system.
Cams There are currently no upgrades. There maybe ones for the 4 cylinder QR25DE in the works because of the shared engine with the Sentra SE-R.
Intakes There are two cold air intakes - from Injen and Place Racing. Injen's is currently for the 4 cylinder Altima. Place Racing's version is available for the V-6 Altima.

Jim Wolf Technology is also developing a CARB approved intake.

Franken Car Performance has developed an intake for the V-6 Altima as well.

A K&N air panel filter replacement is available for longer air filter usage cycle but probably no where near the hp gain of a true intake system replacement.
Exhaust Mossy Performance has developed a true cat back system. Some customers have reported noticeable hp and torque gains.

Stillen has a muffler replacement for the V-6 but is not a true cat back system.
Headers There is no header for the VQ35DE yet but Hot Shot Performance is rumored to have a QR25DE version again for the SE-R which may or may not work on the 4 cylinder Altima.
Turbo/
Supercharger
Kit
Stillen previously developed a kit for the V-6 VQ30DE powered Maxima. Last word was the were exploring the possibilities of supercharging the VQ35DE cars.

Area 51/Street Concepts is developing S/C kit for the Sentra SE-R (QR25DE) engine but no word on whether or not an Altima 4-cylinder application is in the works.
NOS There is no off the shelf kit. A wet set up custom install will be needed because there are no return fuel lines.
Suspension
Springs Both Eibach and H&R offer springs to lower the Altima.

Eibach offers two different sets. The Pro-Kit has an average drop of 1.3" front and  0.8" rear. The Sportline kit has an average drop of 1.8" front and  1.0" rear.

H&R Sport Springs have an average drop of 1.5" front and 1.3" rear.

All kits are available at TireRack.
Struts/Shocks None available yet.
Strut Tower Brace None available yet. Crowded V-6 engine bay make it difficult to fit and standard factory engine bay bracing may not require it.
Sway bars None available yet.
