Whether Nissan realizes it or not, the Renault Koleos (unlike the Avantime) is a vehicle to get excited about. Today's hybrid engine cars like the Toyota Prius and Honda Insight are pretty damn boring and ridiculous to drive.
The Koleos could potentially be Nissan or Infiniti's first Image Satisfying Hybrid because it uses GAS AND ELECTRICITY. Not to mention, it is a hell of a good-looking hybrid style vehicle - one that a techie or an environmentalist might drive if it was available to them.
It is too much without being too much, if that makes any sense. A car that pushes the limits, yet doesn't like most old-fashioned, gas-guzzling SUV's.
If Pelata green lights it to the U.S., we want to do the first test drive!
Our only requests:
1) Give it enough power, say 200 to 280 horsepower. 2) Fuel economy because of the hybrid gas/electric
engines
should be at least 6O-80 MPG. 3) Price it under 32 grand so we can buy it!
Could you imagine how cool that would be? From Atari to a Koleos.
